WHEN BAD THINGS HAPPEN TO GOOD PEOPLE

 Hello there!

It's me showing my face again after a long time. Well I have been off because....let us get to the point. Imagine how attentive you were 😂

On a serious note

Many people ask this question out of frustration: 'why do bad things happen to good people?' Some go as far as saying 'why me?'

Especially when they have done all the right things and yet things still go south.

Before I start raising any point the first thing you should note is bad things happen to everyone and everyone at least once in a while have a bad time.

However here are some points to shed more light on this:

◾GOD IS GOOD

The average person has heard this a dozen time but yet many people still tend to blame God when things go wrong in their lives. Aside the fact that our decisions bear consequences we should also know that God is not involved in anything evil because he is good.

God is not the orchestrator of evil it is the devil. A perfect example is the story of Job indeed Satan took permission from God to test Job but it was Satan who did all the killing and destroying.

Let this get into you - God is good! God is good!! God is so good!!!

Even in that tough situation that Satan has set up for you God is busy ensuring it turns out well for you.

Romans 8:28 says this "And know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them."(NLT)

Next time something is going wrong you know who the enemy is and you know who to run to.

◾ IT HAPPEN TO ALL

Do bad things happen to both good and bad? Yes. Is there a reason? Yes. It is because that is how life is. 

ISAIAH 43:2 did not say 'if' you go through it rather it said 'when' meaning that it is only a matter of time for everyone. Let us consider Peter and Jesus in the storm; Jesus told Peter to come and he was walking on water like Jesus, he was riding on the storm because his eyes was on Jesus but the moment he took his eyes off he began to sink.

Notice however that Jesus did not allowed him to sink.

After all is said and done your security is in God if you want to stand during bad times.(Matthew 7:24-27)

◾BAD TIMES CAN BE YOUR BEST TIME

Some of you might be like: 'what?!' 'how?'

Let me show you. It has been discovered that your mind is at its sharpest during crisis.

For example: Imagine a man that is running from a lion. In front of him is a fence, all of a sudden the strength he never had before comes on him and he jumps and met himself on top of the fence landing on the other side of safety. 

This man would normally not have the ability to do that but at that moment the pressure pushed him up. The worst thing you can do to yourself is stay down during a bad time.

Be innovative! If you have failed in something get back up and try again, if it a loss in business get up and re-strategize. 

In all you do never stay down. People have turned out way better than they were after putting their failure to use.

So don't waste the moment, don't be downcast but rather maximize it to your best.
