5 REASONS YOU SHOULDN'T JOKE WITH OPPORTUNITIES

Good day to you from whatever time you are reading this! I am so happy that you are about to read what you will read in the coming lines because they will bring much advancement to you.

Opportunities...what is an Opportunity? According to Mariam Webster Dictionary it is the favourable juncture of circumstances, meaning that opportunities comes with time and it has a location.

What do I mean by that?

Reading this blog right now is an opportunity, being young is an opportunity, meeting a person or a set of people is an opportunity, attending a seminar is an opportunity, going to school is an opportunity e.t.c.

Opportunities are always around us we don't see it most times so we end up complaining. Journey with me quickly as I take you through 5 reasons you should not joke with opportunities:

1️⃣ Opportunities are rare moments for a promotion:

One character of opportunities is that once they come and you miss them it may be very difficult to recover them again.

Most people define hard times as bad time if only they can see the opportunity in that rare time.

If you are a teacher, would you promote your student to the next class without a test? The answer is no.

Life will test you before you can make progress. Those moments are opportunities.

Next time you go through a tough time see the opportunity of becoming a better and a stronger version of you.

2️⃣ Opportunities are ladders: When you climb on the ladder of opportunity you get to the top faster.

Two guys were told to get to destination A on top of a mountain to get a prize, they were on opposite sides of the mountain. let's call these guys James and Peter.

The mountain had holes you can climb on but it will take them 50 minutes of stress and sweat. However, they were told that helicopters would come soon to take them up.

Peter began climbing immediately but James did not want the stress so he waited for the helicopter. 40 minutes later both Helicopters came and threw a long rope down.

Who do you think will reach the rope first? Yes, Peter because he was closer. So Peter being closer grabbed the rope and reached the top of the mountain before James.

The lesson in this story is even though opportunities are ladders but when Opportunities meet a man unprepared they can lose that opportunity to someone that is prepared for it. Even as you wait for an opportunity stay prepared.

3️⃣ Opportunities are breakthroughs: I won't say much on this but one opportunity well utilized when recognized can change a man's life forever. "many look but only few see"

Opportunities are all around us everyday. One thing you must understand is that these opportunities are time bound, they won't be there forever.

This blog you are reading now is like me giving you a key to open the door to your breakthrough, what you do with that key now depends on you.

5️⃣ Opportunities is the answer to your prayer: How do you think the answer to your prayers will come? They will come in form of opportunities.

For example When you ask God for money, he may give you an idea and then create an opportunity for you to meet someone who will help you monetize that idea.

When you ask him for patience he will give you difficult people to deal with so that they can build your patience.

We don't see these things as answers to our prayers but I can tell you for free that the answer to your prayer is around you in form of an opportunity.

5. Opportunities are potentials: Potential is simply something that has not been done. Opportunities are simply waiting for you to maximize them until you do so they will remain potential and will fade away.

If there is something you must know about potentials it is that when they are maximized they can become anything. Opportunities can take you from ground Zero to level Hero when you utilize them well.

Knock! knock! , who is there? It is Mr. Opportunity, he is saying open the door to me so that I can move you forward.
